VNA Hospice Care is...
- For the final stages of a patient's illness
- For patients who no longer desire curative and/or aggressive treatment
- For patients and families who want calming and comforting care
- For cancer patients and those with other diseases such as heart, lung, kidney or neurological disease
- Delivered primarily in the home with services available at certain long-term care facilities and short hospital stays
- Open to patients of any age and any level of need with any prognosis
